After a long and tedious Winter, filled to the brim with business map-making & the buildout of our new little spot in Oklahoma City’s Arts District, The Wild Mother Studio-Store opened on Feb 23, 2019. Not only was our home christened , but so were the homes of our neighbor-sisters—Sweet Yield Studio and Salt & Water Co., located to the north and south of our space.

It felt truly natural to celebrate with Hannah Ashford (Sweet Yield Studio) and Chelsey Cobbs (Salt & Water Co.) as our three businesses spend the previous year jumping over many hurdles and sharing similar excitements.

The day began with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by our champion and friend Jill Castilla, President, Citizens Bank of Edmond. As you can imagine, there wasn’t a dry eye as we each shared our gratitude for the love we were shown.

Jill Castilla, President of Citizens Bank of Edmond, was able to attend our opening. Here’s she’s pictured proudly taking a snapshot of Lauren Palmer, Leah Palmer, Hannah Ashford, and Chelsey Cobbs standing in The Wild Mother Studio-Store. Citizens funded all three opening businesses.

In no time, old friends, new friends, and family poured into our space to mark the start of a new season for our precious TWM.

We have so much gratitude for each and every one of you who has believed in what started as a dream and grew into a thriving family business. To steward The Wild Mother Creative Studio is one of our lives’ greatest happinesses.
